Our Qualifications

CAA FRTOL

Flight Radiotelephony Operator’s Licence The licence required by pilots and engineers to legally communicate with aeronautical ground stations. Available as a complete training course (inc. Fastrack and bespoke) or exam-only booking.

CAA ROCC

Radio Operators Certificate of Competence

The mandatory certification for operating ground radio and providing an Air Ground Communication Service (AGCS).

ELP

English Language Proficiency (TEAC)

The Test of English for Aeronautical Communication, assessing English language proficiency for ICAO compliance. Delivered by Planespeak in partnership with Lenguax.

FRTOL Fastrack™

Who is this for? Suitable for all student pilots undergoing a recognised course of pilot training who have had exposure to radio communications during their flight lessons. Ideally, students would have already completed the multiple choice Communications, Air Law and Navigation examinations prior to signing up.
